Sides will be provided at auditions.

The Story: Misery is a psychological thriller about a famous novelist who is kidnapped by his obsessive fan and forced to write a new book while trying to escape her increasingly violent clutches.

Character Breakdown

 

Annie Wilkes - A lonely, mentally unstable fan with a dangerously obsessive nature.

 

Paul Sheldon - A successful novelist help captive by Annie and forced to rewrite his favorite book.

 

Sheriff Buster - A small town sheriff investigating Paul's disappearance.
